- RiamTec, as it is called, was founded in 1997 as a non-profit, private college in Miri, Sarawak. On August 2, 2003, it became a private institute of higher learning with the cooperation and support of the Sarawak State Government and the Sarawak Chinese Chamber of Commerce. RiamTec provides high-quality education in fields such as digital marketing, commerce, accountancy, automotive, culinary, and pastry. The mission of RiamTec is to educate and build a world of opportunity for future generations. As a result, RiamTec assures that every student is well-qualified to embrace the duty and obligation of pursuing a meaningful role in society. 

Open Day of RiamTec 📖

RiamTec's open day had offered prospective students with the opportunity to explore more about RiamTec. During the open day, various information and resources are generally provided to visitors. 

Date : 17th of June 2023
Venue : Shin Yang Hall, RiamTec
Time : 8am to 3:15pm

Here are some activities held during the Open Day of RiamTec

  • Campus Tour 
  • Students and lecturer interactions 
  • Workshop and demonstration
  • Explore campus facilities 
  • Provide information about admission and financial assistance  
  • Question and Answer (QnA) section 
  • Lucky draw
With that, the RiamTec Open Day was a major success as students were able to learn about the academic programs that they are interested in with the help of lecturers and staffs. It also aids student to make an significant decision whether RiamTec aligns with the academic and personal goals of student.

Riam Institute of Technology 's  💫 High Achievement 💫 The achievement :       Riam institute of Technology as known as RiamTec has elected four students, namely Ng Boon Yi Adam, Eileen Tay Jia Xing, Michelle Yam Bao Er and Ngu Yi Hui had participated the 21st National Inter-Varsity Accounting Quiz 2023 They were  the only team in Sarawak who  successfully secured a spot in the final top 10. Multimedia University (MMU) Accounting Club (Melaka Campus) was the organizer of this event. The preliminary round was held on June 3rd through Google Meet, while the final round was held on June 10th in MMU Melaka's main hall. 🥘Food Bazaar🥘 What is a food bazaar ? It is an event or marketplace where many food stalls will showcase and sell their foods. It offers a wide range of diversify foods such as barbecue beef, sweet corn, fried chicken, ice cream and others. Food bazaar is popular as it offers the opportunity to consumers to try and taste a wide array of dishes in one location. They can be held in an open space as well as indoor, depending on the location and climate.
